Knoxville Raceway set the stage for another memorable USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship feature. Local fans had extra reason to cheer: the winning car was fielded by Chris Dyson Racing, based right in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Veteran Chase Stockon led the 25-lap main event for most of the night, but Brady Bacon showed why he’s considered a USAC sprint car legend. With five laps remaining, Bacon used perfect timing and track sense to outpace Stockon, securing his fifth USAC win at Knoxville and the 61st of his career. That result puts him just one win away from tying the all-time series record, a milestone meaningful to USAC sprint car racing followers everywhere.
